Is todays music like a disposable lighter

God i see this all the time.
"Make perfect drums in a second",
"how to make a track in an hour"
"use these loops to speed up your music making"
"learn this trick and master in a day"
"use this plugin to make your melodies"
etc.etc
On and on about how to make your music while being able to make a coffee and watch netflix at the same time, so you have even more time to produce even more garbage!
Speed speed speed, produce your music fast! Why for heavens sake.
To make soulful love induced music, takes time. Time to craft, learn, shape, listen, sculp, adjust, wait, listen more, adjust and tweak, engineer, and so on
Learning to be a producer takes time, not days, weeks or months, but fucking years!.
Years of dedication, isolation, sacrifice, poverty, no ackonowledgement, rejection, frustration.
Without experiencing this your music will be superficial crap and your listeners will feel this.
All this disposable throw away lighter attitude towards music making has no soul, intergrity or any kind of credibility whatsoever!
No.wonder there's so much shite out there, and there really is!.
Absolute total bollocks most of it, because it's all been put together like lego blocks using sample packs made by other people.
It will.never be your music, you will.never own it because you never made it, designed it or took time to learn it in the first place.

My Audio interface

People ask what audio interface do we use in the studio. So i decided to write a short introduction on the Focusrite 816

The Scarlett 816 audio interface is a product from Focusrite, a company that specializes in audio equipment for music production. The Scarlett 816 is an 16-channel rack-mounted audio interface, which means it is designed to connect multiple audio sources (such as microphones or instruments) to a computer for recording or mixing.

Some of the key features of the Scarlett 816 include:

16 analog inputs: The Scarlett 816 has 16 analog inputs, which can accommodate up to 16 microphones, instruments, or line-level sources. Each input has a dedicated gain control and switchable phantom power for use with condenser microphones.

ADAT input and output: The Scarlett 816 also features ADAT input and output, which allows you to expand the number of inputs and outputs using an external ADAT-compatible device.

MIDI input and output: The Scarlett 816 also includes MIDI input and output ports, allowing you to connect MIDI devices such as keyboards or controllers.

High-quality preamps: Focusrite is known for its high-quality preamps, and the Scarlett 816 is no exception. The preamps in the Scarlett 816 are designed to provide low noise and high headroom, ensuring clean and clear recordings.

Software bundle: The Scarlett 816 comes with a software bundle that includes the Focusrite Control software, which allows you to control the routing and settings of the interface, as well as several other software tools for recording and mixing.

Overall, the Scarlett 816 is a versatile and high-quality audio interface that is ideal for professional music production studios or anyone who needs to record multiple audio sources at once.
